ultra mid century serving set of 9 plates and 5 glasses in a hand painted gold and pink design by Fran Taylor’s Gay Fad Studios. Fran Taylor’s Gay Fad Studios was a world-renowned Mid-Century cocktail glassware and barware design company from 1938-1945. Her pieces were hand decorated which created very high demand during the Mid-Century cocktail experience. Gay Fad Studios’ designs were known for the detail patterns and vibrant colors. This set features a a gold and pink design with birds, butterflies, flowers, and line work. The set is in excellent condition with minor signs of age and ware to the gold. They are signed in gold with the classic "Gay Fad" signature.
