The Uffizi Gallery Catalogue of Paintings with notes and comments by Roberto Salvini published in 1955. Founded in 1581, Florence, Italy, The Uffizi is one of the most important Italian museums and the most visited, it is also one of the largest and best known in the world and holds a collection of priceless works, particularly from the period of the Italian Renaissance.

What makes this extra special is the wonderful ephemera tucked into it's pages. This was done with great care, a wonderful time capsule scrapbook of the traveler's trip. Inside they tucked a postcard, train tickets, an Air France sticker, stamps from Italy and more. All from a trip taken in 1958, the date shown on one of tickets.

The book and the items are all in very good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear and age.
