You will be the first to wear this Jones New York Sport loungewear casualwear set. Made in Hong Kong, it is a charming two piece waffle print cotton snap front top with elastic leg pants. Super comfortable, it is versatile, easy to wear and pretty too. Guaranteed to make any day cheerful, the colorful print is a purple, pink and green floral on white. Original paper hang tags are still attached to both pieces.

Although it is labeled as a Size Small, this is 1980's sizing when everything was worn oversized. Please use these measurements to assure your best fit.

For the top:
The bust size is 38 and 1/2 inches.
Sleeve length is 19 inches.
Full length is 22 inches.
Hemline width is 40 inches.

For the pants:
Elasticized waist from 26 to 34 inches.
Hip is 42 inches.
Inseam is 24 inches.
Full length is 37 inches.

Fourteen snaps line the center front of the top. These can be fully snapped, partially snapped or left open when you wear a camisole or tee shirt with this set.

Two front pockets are in the top and two side pockets are in the pants.

As you can see, this is a dropped shoulder line and there are no shoulder pads.

Laundry instructions show this is washable only and should not be dry cleaned. I assume that is because the dry cleaning procedure may alter the waffle weave texture. Because the hang tags are attached I have not laundered this set.

According to the Vintage Fashion Guild "Jones New York got its start as a division of John Meyer of Norwich. In 1969 John Meyer merged with the W. R. Grace company. The Jones New York label was started in 1970 as a line of contemporary women’s separates. It was managed by Sidney Kimmel with Rena Rowan as head designer. In 1975 Kimmel bought the label from Grace and established the Jones Apparel Group. Through the 1970s and 1980s Jones New York grew to be a major producer of ladies’ wear, specializing in separates and career clothing. Rena Rowan designed at Jones New York and was a vice president there until her retirement."

Both pieces are in Mint Vintage Condition, with no stains, holes or seams unraveling anywhere.

This set comes from a home with no pets and no smokers.

Each of these pieces can also be worn separately. The pants will coordinate with many tee shirts, blouses and jackets and the top can be worn over leggings, pants or jeans.
