A toile is an early version of a finished garment made up of cheap material. Also known as a muslin test garment. This is a working pattern with unfinished edges but will have closures.

A muslin fabric in the appropriate weight for the design is selected. Once I get your measurements, the toile will be made and sent to you to try on. Through email/photos/facetime/phone we can perfect any alterations that might be needed. Recommended fabric swatches will be included with the toile. I offer this service for all of my designs.
