Very nice 1975 first U. S. paperback edition of The Cactus Throne: The Tragedy of Maximilian and Carlotta by Richard O'Connor. A true account that is said to read like a novel about the tragedy of Mexico's last imperial couple, Maximilian of Austria and Charlotte of Belgium, who would later be known as Carlota.

In good condition with normal sings of age and wear including some foxing on the end pages especially.
