Fun mid century edition of The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain. Part of the Junior Deluxe Series published by Doubleday in 1954. Wonderful end paper design and embossed covers with cute and colorful spines. All these editions have color plates in the front and use mid century graphics and illustrators.

In good vintage condition with some signs of wear and age, including some foxing and fading to the spine. This edition also had a decorated inscription using stickers from the period, also one on the dedication page. A charming bit of provenance!
