File under: wearable work of art. This romantic porcelain pendant features The Blue Boy, one of Rococo artist Thomas Gainsborough's most iconic paintings, circa 1770. This porcelain transfer is closed in an ornate silver frame, emphasizing the Rococo vibe. The pendant is finished in the back with a pin to be worn as a brooch, but I especially love it worn as a pendant. It comes with this vintage French velvet ribbon, which I collected separately. This ribbon is so special and a treasure in and of itself! In addition to the brooch closure, the pendant also has a hidden bale in the back, making it possible to wear it on a chain as well. Measures 2.25" long x 1.75" wide, and accompanying ribbon is 21mm wide/can be adjusted in length.
