Very interesting book by B. M. Bower which was a pseudonym of female author Bertha Muzzy Bower Sinclair (1871-1940), who specialized in Westerns like Black Thunder and Van Patten.

This is her only sci fi novel. The Adam Chasers places an archaeologist – an "Adam chaser" – in Nevada, where hieroglyphics are found, along with the remains of eight-foot-tall men, all suggesting that Humans originated in the American West.

The cover art features some hieroglyphics along with string blue type on an orange cloth cover. There is definite signs of wear and age, including to worn patches on the cover. Still in very good overall condition for its age. No dust jacket.
