Unique and fun tea themed art piece hand done with probably either gouache or acrylic paint on slate. Found at an estate sale, would guess from the age of most things in the house it's from the 1950s or 1960s. A very pretty piece that would look great in a kitchen, dining room, porch, parlor or anywhere you like to have your tea!

In very good vintage condition with some signs of wear and age. Most notably, quite a few holes in the slate which because of the layers is not easy to see. These just add to the charm of the piece and fully intended on the artist's part who chose an imperfect piece of slate as a canvas.

It is quite heavy and would suggest using an anchor when hanging.
