This beautiful butterfly taxidermy is mounted in a clear plexiglass shadow box block cube. This large real butterfly insect is referred to as an Owl because of the huge eye spots that resemble owls' eyes. They are found in the rainforests and secondary forests of Mexico, Central and South America. Nice addition to a taxidermy collection and nice sized for a book shelf or tabletop. My mother has collected owls for years and it is in lovely cared for condition. Always sitting in the kitchen on a bookshelf overseeing the activity.
