Beautiful 2nd printing of Taw Jameson by May Davies Martenet and published by Knopf in 1953. This beautiful Mid Century cover design is George Salter considered a revolutionary book designer of the period. The jacket even bares his name in small print under the authors. This book was and is still highly regarded but the only book published by the author.

It is very good condition, the jacket has some minor tears and signs of wear, but over all very good for age. The Book itself is also in very good shape with very minor signs of wear.
