Mid-calf length, with three quarter sleeves, it has a channel in the back for the self belt. As you can see in the photos, that also provides shaping to the back of the robe. The Natori line of designer lingerie has an interesting history. The company was founded by Josie Natori, a . She started her career on Wall Street, where she rose through the ranks to become the first female Vice President in Investment Banking at a major firm. Then she decided to pursue a childhood dream of being an entrepreneur. After considering a number of other entrepreneurial ventures, she settled on fashion after a buyer at Bloomingdale's suggested she lengthen some peasant blouses sent to her from her Philippines. Those original altered garments were sold as nightshirts in 1977. From then on she was designing lingerie to fit women and make them feel good about themselves. The Natori Company celebrated its 40th anniversary in November of 2017. The products are sold today at such department stores as Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdale's.
