Made in India, with a silk strapless lace and bead trim bustier top, crinoline lined full length skirt and flowers cascading down the front of both pieces, this vintage 2-piece formal is chic, unique and versatile. When you wear both pieces this has the appearance of a strapless dress, however the benefit is that you have two versatile pieces that each can be worn with other separates in your wardrobe. The bustier features a very low cut fully shaped bodice, a black lace overlay, beading on the floral lace, all along the top and bottom, and it is form fitted to slightly below waist length and with a full length back zipper.

As you can see in the photos, this bustier top is meant to beautifully emphasize your ultra feminine figure, at the bust and waistline.

This bustier is a fully lined boned shaped built-in bra-style, meant to act as a virtual corset so you do not need a separate bra with this dress.

Keep in mind that there is no stretch or leeway in the construction, due to the fitted bustier, so it is up to the buyer to take your own measurements to assure a good fit.

I have included a photo of the inside so that you can see the flowers are stitched on with a bright thread so they are easy to see and could be removed later for a completely different look for the bustier and the skirt.

Either piece can be worn separately, especially if you choose to easily remove the sewn-on three-dimensional flowers.

Fully lined in crinoline to keep the flared shape, this skirt is an A-line design.

Made in India, this two-piece formal dress is very well made and it remains in wonderful vintage condition, with no indications of prior wear.

I do not find any issues with either the lining or the external fabric.

Both pieces have sturdy back zippers that work well and both are fully lined.

The skirt has three layers; the top silk layer that you see, a crisp crinoline slip and an internal polyester lining.

The label reads "Made in India, 100% Silk, Lining 100% Polyester".

This vintage two-piece bustier formal is in Very Good Vintage condition.

All the seams are intact and there are no odors, snags, stains or holes inside or outside.

Close inspection does not show any issues to report.
