Made in the USA, never worn with an original paper hang tag, this vintage Petra teddy is a terrific combination of sweet and hot! White sheer 1 and 1/2 inch wide lace accents the low cut bodice, which features spaghetti straps. An elastic waist is made even more adjustable with a narrow pink satin ribbon belt. The skirt flares, ballerina style, with an insert of sheer white floral lace that further flatters your figure. At the crotch there are three hidden snaps.

The fabric content label reads "Petra Fashions, RN 68223, Medium, Made in USA, 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton". Laundry instructions show that it is hand washable. All of our modern washing machines have delicate or hand wash cycles, so that is how I would wash this teddy. I always recommend hanging vintage lingerie to dry because I feel that helps it look its best for an even longer life.

It is in Pristine Never Worn Vintage condition, without any issues. I do not find any snags, stains or tears in the fabric or the lace. All the seams are intact and the hidden snaps work perfectly.

This fabric is best described as pique-like due to the texture. Typically pique fabric, or marcella, refers to a weaving style, normally used with cotton yarn, which is characterized by raised parallel cords or geometric designs in the fabric. Pique fabric always has a raised feel to the texture.
