Such a pretty summer dress! It dates to the early 1960s. The bodice features a gently squared-off yoke front and back - it also forms the straps and wraps under the arms. The yoke is piped with pink cording. The full skirt is attached to the bodice with soft inverted pleats.
SIZE: No size label
Bust - 40" (101. 5 cm)
Waist - 28" (71 cm)

Bodice length from shoulder seam - 16" (40. 5 cm)
Skirt length: 23" (58. 5 cm)

FABRIC/COLORS: No fabric content label - based on a fiber burn test and hand feel, I believe it is cotton - it is a medium weight twill weave, very soft and smooth to the touch. The watercolor-style floral print is just lovely - looks like tulips, done in soft shades of pink to coral, with smaller blue flowers (forget-me-nots?) with goldenrod to brown leaves and stems against a creamy ivory background.
