Suede Shearling Lamb Turquoise Blue and White Embroidered Coat

Amazing Bright Turquoise Afghan Embroidered with Sheepskin.

I have never seen an afghan in this color.

Incredibly warm and cozy, as the whole inside is shearling

Hooks that go from top to bottom, with a hood to keep you warm

All embroidered flowers are intact

there are some variations in the suede and signs of use. There is one watermark on the right sleeve and some signs of use on the lower right sleeve. Please look at the photos I provided of the signs of use and see if they are acceptable to you. I find that they do not detract from the coat.

features a feminine tailoring fit and flare. not pinned on the mannequin.

A little history on these coats;

This can fit a size 2/4/6, maybe an 8 US, but follow the measurements I provide and remember that since it is all lined with sheepskin, that makes the fit about an inch or two tighter. Please keep this in mind when you consider what you are going to wear underneath.

38" around the bust

23" sleeve

46" length

34" around the waist

"The Afghan coat made its debut appearance onto the London fashion scene in 1966, as the swinging city began to turn its attention towards all things of eastern and Asian influence. They were first imported by Craig Sams, who then sold them on through various boutiques such as Granny Takes a Trip on the King's Road, the popularity of the coats increased rapidly after the Beatles had been photographed wearing them. The original imports from the Ghazni province (which is situated between Kabul and Kandahar) were incredibly beautiful and elaborately decorated with hand embroidery by the local artisans."
