Rare Geometrical bust made of crushed malachite stone and wood statue "Cabeza de Palenque" This sculpture is made with small chips of a green stone or material in resin or epoxy.  The original of this well known sculpture, represents King Pacal. It was found in the Temple of the Inscriptions in Palenque. The facial features express serenity and wisdom which this enlightened King was famous for. He contributed a lot to the political and cultural development of the city of Palenque.
