Unworn, with its original paper hang tag still attached, this vintage Starington 2-piece set has a long sleeve cream color silk blouse and matching silk tank style camisole. With this well-made set you have two versatile pieces. Both the blouse and the tank/camisole can be worn on their own, as well as a set. The long sleeve silk blouse has a fold-down collar, trimmed with narrow self piping in a solid cream and that same piping is used at the sleeve cuffs.

The label inside identifies this set as Starington blouses by Charlotte and the size is shown as 12, however please use the measurements below to assure your perfect fit.

For the blouse:
Shoulder to shoulder is 16 and 3/4 inches.
Arm hole opening is 22 inches.
Sleeve length is 25 inches, with the under arm length at 18 and 3/4 inches.
Bust size is 43 inches.
Full length is 27 and 3/4 inches.
Hemline width is 44 inches.

For the tank style camisole:
Bust size is 41 inches because this is meant to fit more tightly than the blouse.

Starington garments are cut generously and that is why comparing the measurements of a specific Starington blouse to another blouse you already own that fits you well is important.
As you can tell from the photos, the silk for the blouse is a pattern-on-pattern subtle fleur de lis design that appears to be solid when viewed from any distance.
The tank style silk camisole is a solid cream color and it has a lower rounded neckline.
In the classic cream color, you will use them often as a basic part of so many outfits.
Very pretty small round buttons, made to look like Mother of Pearl, circled with gold trim, will completely close the front or you can choose to leave all or some of those unbuttoned to show off the camisole. The same size buttons are used in the sleeve cuffs and all of the buttons are intact.
The front has bust darts and lightweight shoulder pads, which could easily be removed if you prefer a more natural shoulder line.
The bottom edge is curved and nicely hemmed so this can be worn tucked in or unbuttoned as an over blouse.
All silk, this set must be dry cleaned.
With its traditional style, and classic cream color, this all silk blouse and tank style camisole can be worn with everything from a basic skirt, pair of pants and almost anything you can imagine from day to night.
