A two piece vintage black ribbed Santana knit slim skirt and waist-length long sleeve sweater set from St. John Basics Knits is a classic to wear together or as separates. With long sleeves, the sweater has a V neck and a ribbed design shaping the front. The slim skirt has the traditional SJK elastic waist. A defining touch for this skirt is the ribbed knit construction accented by a scalloped hemline. Of course, either of these basic black SJK pieces can be worn with other items in your wardrobe, even those that aren't St. John Knits.

The size tag shows size 4 for the skirt and Small for the sweater and the fabric for both is a mix of wool and rayon. That famous santana knit has a built-in stretch and comfort, with the added quality of resisting wrinkles and bagging.

Each of the individual pieces is in Excellent Vintage condition.

There are no stains, holes or unraveling anywhere and these garments come to you from a home with no pets and no smokers.

As you can see, the sweater has a natural shoulder line with no internal shoulder pads.

The skirt does not have pockets and the waistband is elasticized so no zipper is required.
