1950's STYLE cotton summer dress by Girls from Savoy. I have had this same dress, in different patterns and textiles, pass through my hands several times and I am always impressed by the quality. Black cotton petal-bust bodice with a removable halter strap. Elastic smocking at the back, so there is a little flexibility in size there. Nipped waist with a very full skirt. White cotton with an abstract mid-century style print of brown, yellow and black crescent brushstrokes. The skirt is shown with a petticoat, but this is not included. The skirt is lined in a cotton ruffled slip. Metal zipper at the back.
