4th of July? Memorial Day? Voting Day?

I can think of a zillion days to wear this adorable 1960's dress. It is technically a square dance dress, but with its unique trim and classic fit and flare silhouette it can certainly be worn off the dance-floor. Bold lipstick red with a fitted bodice, puffed short sleeves and a VERY full circle skirt. Darts at the bust for a proper fit. Square neckline with a square yoke trimmed in white velvet ribbon embroidered with red and blue elephants. The elephants have raised intertwined trunks and they perch atop leaves. How precious! The skirt sits at the natural waist and is shown with a crinoline underneath. The crinoline is not included. The hem is flounced and trimmed with blue grosgrain ribbon and more elephant embroidered ribbon trim. Metal back zipper.

CONDITION

-One very faint mark on the front velvet trim. Shown in photo,

-There is a line of white at the back collar. It might be paint. I spot treated and it did not lift. Shown in photo.

I have not laundered this and it is as found. No odors. No holes.
