Edwardian Simple White Linen Shift Chemise Lace Trim Flounce$125.00
This is a darling simple white linen shift circa Edwardian era. It has a square neckline that is trimmed in lovely lace that at the front cowls a bit. It is sleeveless and the straps are also a beautiful lace and eyelet trim. The body of the shift is simple, hanging straight, and gathered at the neckline. It is loose fitting and falls to the knees with about 3 inches of the edge decorated in wonderful pintucks, eyelets, and embroidery. The hem edge is also scalloped.
Condition:
The shift is in great condition with no flaws to note. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
Size:
A note on antique shifts. They are meant to be quite loose fitting and the most size restrictive areas are the armholes. Please look at that measurement to make sure it will fit.
If you have any questions I am happy to help.
