mid century wooden trinket / jewelry box with ornate hand embossed silver tin metal overlay, made in India. This storage / display case is , mid century, and glamorous all at once! It is large and geometric in size with a lid top that opens via hinge and closes via a metal latch hardware in the front (a lock could be added if you wish). The outside boasts a bright, shiny silver stamp work, hand embossed layer of tin with no detail spared on it's intricate designs. There are small areas of wood left exposed between the scrolling tin work motifs, giving extra dimension. The interior is solid wood, painted black. A perfect way to store and display jewelry, accessories, photos, trinkets, or your special items. The underside is also covered in tin and has it's original sticker that shows it's origin: India.
