Made in Italy of 100% pure silk this vintage tuxedo style scarf is from the 1950's era. Yellow is the background color. A small geometric overall design is gray brick red and brown. Originally this would have been for men to wear with either evening clothes suits or winter coats. A single layer of silk it is a classic crisp clean stylish piece and now of course it could be worn by women too.

It is a traditional size at 54 by 12 inches with narrow self fringe borders at both ends.

Because it is a single layer this scarf is versatile easy to fold and wear so many ways. A few of those are shown here. This is also lightweight enough that it can be worn in any season of the year.

As you can see it is in Very Good Vintage condition with very few signs of prior use.
