30s/40s Big Art Deco Double Ring Box In Ivory Celluloid$85.00
This ring box is a jewel in itself--or maybe a big bonbon; it looks that good. A high art deco dome has lots of curves and sleek lines, plus painted gold highlights. Ivory colored, almost egg-shaped, with little "feet."
Inside you'll find two ring slots set off in black velvet, making this great for storing a set or using in a wedding.
And if you collect based on jewelers, label detail, or locations, you gotta love "Howard C Heiss / Your Jeweler" of Baltimore. Howard decorated his imprimatur with a graphic of a lion rearing beneath a diamond shooting rays of light.
Condition is excellent. This is a genuine old piece, so please study photos to be sure it's right for you. The photos also show the measurements with a tape measure, so you can get a true sense of size. The one flaw I can find is the glue that has browned on Howard's satin insert. The lid snaps down securely.
Your jewels will sparkle against that black velvet, and the shape is so pretty and special that you'll smile every time you open it up.
Rings are not included (of course), but the camphor glass ring is available in another listing.
From a nonsmoking, pet-loving home.
