Calling all fashionistas! Beautifully crafted, with exquisite details, designed by Matthew for Karen Lawrence, it is what to reach for anytime you want a Little Black Dress that is anything but basic. Spectacular from every angle, the dress is a black matte in an acetate and polyester fabric, with bands of shiny satin finish accents at the neckline, sleeve edges, at the top of each sleeve and all along the back center seam on both sides, down to the hemline. It is a rare find and in Excellent Vintage condition, ready to be worn today.

Shown on the tag as a size 4, please use these measurements below for your exact fit because sizing has changed so much over the decades and between designers:

Shoulder to shoulder is 13 inches.
Arm opening is 18 and 3/4 inches around.
Sleeves are 11 and 1/2 inches long.
Bust is 33 and 1/2 inches.
Waist is 28 and 1/2 inches.
Hip is 36 inches.
Hemline width is 35 inches.
Back slit is 6 and 3/4 inches.
Full length is 39 inches.

There are three fabulous satin bows with clear rhinestones at the center of each bow. Every time you turn, you will dazzle the room. Views of the back are shown in the final photos.

A back zipper stops at the second bow and the dress is fully lined. Hidden hooks and snaps hold the bows so they are flat when you are wearing this dress. These details are the kind of workmanship typically found in higher-end designer clothing.

In addition to the fabric tags there is a red, white and blue ILGWU Union label inside, which helps date this to the 1974 to early 1980's time frame. Since it doesn't have any shoulder pads, or evidence any were ever there, I am dating it to the 1970's.

I do not find any issues to report with this exquisite LBD classic.
