Set of 3 large 1950's mid century IVV Glacier Ice art glass pieces with 10K gold rims and accents, made in Italy. The set includes 1 platter and 2 bowls. The solid crystal pieces are large, very heavy, and substantial - perfect for displaying or storing. These designer mid century freeform pieces were hand made in Italy by IVV Industria Vetraria Valdarnese. The pattern is called Glacier and resembles ice texture. IVV Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, was started in 1952 by a cooperative of master artisan glassmakers in Tuscany, Italy. The glass is of superior quality. It is crystal clear in color. Excellent condition.
