In a feminine floral green and purple print this vintage Ruth Norman New York 2-piece set still has an original paper hang tag attached. A tunic length pullover top is paired with comfort fit elastic waist pants both in Size Medium. Made in the USA with a lightweight rayon fabric this set is fabulous figure friendly and versatile.

Back in the day Ruth Norman designs were meant to be worn as a hostess set. In our modern world we would choose to wear it out to lunch or dinner for a game night with friends a backyard barbecue pool party or simply for a day out shopping.

Color choices here are superb with an ombre-inspired green background and floral Persian designs in shades of purple blue and lilac.

As I mentioned the pattern and color choices are typically Ruth Norman designer wonderful. What you can't see are the two hidden side pockets in the pants and the small inside shoulder pads on the pullover. Those pads could easily be removed if you prefer a more natural shoulder line.

In Mint Never Worn Vintage condition this set will be one you love immediately and reach for often. Both pieces are easy to wear. The top is pullover and the pants are pull on. Neither piece has snaps buttons or a zipper.

For those who have not heard of this designer Ruth Norman was known for her exotic yet feminine designs which were produced during the 1970's and early 1980's. Her garments were sold in the very high-end department stores such as Neiman Marcus.
