Circa 40's WWII Marine Corp SERGEANT MAJOR Trench Overcoat

This is a Roll Collar Trench Coat worn by a Sergeant Major in the Marines which is the 9th and highest rank. The Patch on each side has five bars which indicates four years of service for each bar. This is a Heavy Wool Double Breasted Trench Coat with the Marine insignia buttons in black on the front and on the belt in the back. The pockets have the regular pocket plus a section that opens inside the coat so that you can reach your wallet, keys, etc. without opening your coat. There are no labels inside. This is a GREAT Unisex Coat!

Near MINT Condition - This Coat is in Amazing condition especially for its age. There are no Moth Holes. It did have one very small torn spot by the right pocket. It has been repaired and it is hard to even see without close examination. This is an AMAZING Coat to add to Your Collection particularly for cold climates.
