On both sides of it a shell-like white bead is paired with a cabochon bead, which is surrounded by 5 small prong-set rhinestones.

At the back there is a slide-in style clasp, with an attached safety chain. Those types of safety chains were used only by higher-end jewelry designers. With those in place women would feel much safer knowing the bracelet was doubly secured on their wrist.

My photos do not do this bracelet justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and is the only Schiaparelli bracelet I have seen like this in all my years of collecting and wearing vintage jewelry.
