This terrific vintage Saybury New York pastel zip front robe has an overall pattern in a feminine pastel watercolor floral design. Although it is very lightweight, the polyester fabric is made to look as if it is quilted. Designed in the mid 1970's, as is evidenced by the red, white and blue ILGWU Union label, this robe was Made in the USA.

According the the tag, this is a Size Small, however please use measurements below for exact fit:

Predominant pastel colors are shades of pink, purple, teal, yellow, and white.

It features a zip front, a , two hidden side pockets, three quarter length full cut sleeves and it is knee length or perhaps a bit longer, dependent on your height.

The attached fabric tags read "Saybury New York, Small, 100% Polyester, Made in USA, Style 6031, RN 14287" and the laundry instructions show that it is machine washable and can be tumbled dry.

It is a classic robe, lightweight, perfect for travel, and it is in Excellent Vintage condition.

Take a look at the detail photo of the tag and you can easily see from that "As New" condition how little this Saybury robe was worn by the original owner.

There are no snags, stains or odors, the hem is complete, there are no holes in the pockets and the zipper works smoothly.

So well made, feminine, colorful and comfortable too, it has a figure forgiving fit that is perfect for lounging and is stylish still.

As can be seen in the photos, the pattern makes you feel cheerful, serene and relaxed.

The main features are floral, done in pastel colors with a watercolor feel. I tried to take photos from a variety of angles to show off the superb pattern of this robe. There is a narrow pink piping edge for the collar.
