A stunning black wool coat from the long-running family owned department store Fantles in Sioux Falls, SD. This beautiful, mod style jacket is medium length with slightly cropped sleeves, oversized satin buttons, and matching satin trim at the (working!) front pockets. This jacket is quite heavy, making it the perfect intersection of style and utility. This piece predates the requirement of fabric tags so the exact materials are not listed, but the shell is inarguably a very high quality natural fiber that is warm and soft to the touch, probably cashmere or fine wool. I believe the satin details and inner lining are very likely made of silk. This piece also has a "Monarch New York" label inside, meaning it was likely sold at Fantles via Monarch or vice versa. This piece is in wonderful condition with no visible flaws.
