This satin silk dress is from the 1940s. Made for the C Crawford Hollidge Company out of the Boston, MA area. This dress is a shirt dress, silvery violet in color, and decorated down the center of the bodice with its original brass buttons with icy rhinestone centers.

This dress originally came with a matching belt, but it has been lost through the ages. I have fashioned a new belt out of a black velvet ribbon, and attached it to a vintage style, gold tone metal buckle decorated with icy rhinestones, and small faux white pearls.

The brass buttons are the originals, I however had to replace the rhinestones as several of them were missing. They have been replaced with comparable, high quality, Swarovski crystals.

Condition: In great vintage condition. No tears, or rips. Very small stains on the bodice and collar, these are photographed.
