Lovely piece of mourning jewelry
Made of a gold washed metal, possibly gold filled, wearing at the edges
Taille D'Epargne enamel work flank the center in a leaf and flower design
Center is satin glass, solid piece with no embellishment. 7/8x 5/8 inch
Four small marcasites flank the leaves
Beautiful filigree work
The opening is 2. 5 x 1 7/8 inch
Hinged bangle so easy on and off
Box clasp with a double pronged tongue insert
Safety chain
Face of bangle is 1 inch wide and the body is 3/8 inch wide
Lovely piece, tons of detail and so very feminine!
Very good condition, wear at edges to the gold fill. Satin glass is in excellent condition, all marcasites present. The taille d'epargne shows wear on each of the leaves, examine closely. This is noticeable under a loupe but almost imperceptible otherwise. Clasp is secure and hinge is strong.
