This early 1960s blouse and skirt set in sage green plus green and white gingham check pairs 2 versatile separates into a perfectly put-together 2-piece outfit! The slightly boxy, button-front blouse has three-quarter-length sleeves (with the cuffs shown here double-rolled), a small, pointed collar, a square hem (to wear In or Out, as the hangtag advises), and unusual, double bust darts. The cotton and orlon blend, gingham-checked fabric is lightweight. The matching pencil skirt in linen-textured rayon has a row of topstitching that opens into an inverted pleat, off-center, at the front hem. The narrow waistband has 4 belt loops. The skirt is unlined and fastens at the side seam with a metal zipper, and a single button at the waistband. This 1960s blouse and skirt set of Colormates is in mint condition, unworn or deadstock, with no issues to note. Both pieces have their original hangtags, which are neat to read! Wear the set together, or wear each separate separately, mixing and matching with the rest of your wardrobe. Both pieces are mid-century classics!
