Royal Winton 1995 Welbeck Yellow Chintz Coffee Pot Mint Condition

This beautiful Royal Winton 1995 Welbeck coffee pot is from the reissue of this classic yellow chintz pattern in the late 1990s. More tea pots of the 1995 reissue tend to be available than coffee pots, so this is a real find.

The coffee pot is 9 ½” high from the bottom to top of the lid’s knob, 5” wide at the widest part, and 9” long from the handle to tip of the spout. It holds 6 cups.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or scratches. I don’t know that it was ever used.

Marked “Atlas Fine Bone China Royal Winton Established 1885 Welbeck Made in Staffordshire, England” and with the letter “A.”

The 1995 in the name does not mean that’s when it was produced; it signified the year when Royal Winton became part of the Taylor Tunnicliffe Group, which registered the company as Grimwades to trade as Royal Winton. The following few years it reproduced many of its chintz patterns due to a resurgence in demand for chintz after a series of books on chintz were published in Canada, the US, and England. Royal Winton began reproducing some of its patterns in 1997, so these pieces would have been made then or after.

Some people would consider these pieces vintage because they were made in the 1990s.
