Floral embroidery, in pink and pastel green, trims the yoke of the nightgown and the robe.

The nylon fabric for the robe and the gown is softly gathered onto the yoke of each garment. That construction makes for a flattering and comfortable figure friendly fit.

For the robe there are five plastic front buttons and one hidden side pocket.

Laundry instructions show these are machine washable and can be tumbled dry. Freshly laundered, this set will arrive clean and ready to wear.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

This classic set remains in Very Good Vintage condition, with only minor signs of prior ownership. The one issue worth any mention is that the gown was worn and laundered more than the robe, so it is a slightly lighter shade of pink.

There are no stains, smells, tears, torn seams or other issues and the set comes to you from a pet-free, smoke-free home.
