Regal Aqua 50s Ball Gown with Shelf Styled Bust Pear Embellishments Bustle Back Detail$350.00
This darling aqua 50s taffeta ball gown is made of a swishy rayon taffeta. The dress has a shelf-styled bust that peeks out of ruching on the bodice. The bust is in white taffeta and is decorated with darling pastel blue flowers that are set with pearls and rhinestones. The bodice is fully boned and is also supported by tiny spaghetti straps. The skirt is wonderfully full and is gathered down at the waist. The front of the skirt is simple and falls to the floor. In the back, the gown bustles in a two-tier bustle that adds so much fun and volume to the skirt. The gown has a metal zipper down the back with a hook and eye at the top. The gown does have an underskirt that is attached and is made of thin gauze. The skirt and bustle are lined in tulle to help give them volume.
Condition:
The gown is in wonderful condition overall and only has one flaw to note. There is a small stain in the back by the hem of the gown that looks like someone stepped on the dress. It did not come out when laundering it, but it is hard to see near the hem and does not take away how lovely the dress is. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
