This is a vintage A. Santini hand carved marble resin sculpture of three soldiers and three horses in battle. I see a lot of Santinis on line, but not this scene. I see chariots, but this may be a rare battle scene by Santini. What impressed me was the wonderful condition of the rope reins, which are clean, except for the tiniest spec, which I will try a drop of bleach on. Just a few flaws on the back corner, but nothing to detract from the overall impressive majesty of this artistic accomplishment. The sculpture is very detailed and elegant. On the back side bottom of the sculpture it says: "A. Santini". This sculpture is beautifully crafted, and will make a wonderful gift. This figurine measures approximately 14"W x 9. 5"H.
