Homemade maxi dress someone cheekily sewed a Joseph Magnin tag in- That's a good indicator of when this was made, in 1967 JM did the trousseau for LBJ's daughter so it became the "in" label to talk about and after all the Joseph Mag"nah-man" 's I've found over the years I'd imagine someone was selling them as a novelty at some point.

Anyway, well made for a homebrew with a bit of a cheesy under bust tie, but it works and it's fine. Stitches are all straight and as you can see on the dress form they got all the seams straight and fabric isn't matched but they took a little time doing it and it looks great.

And these colors man, I mean this is so good. I used to freak out finding a Hawaiian maxi that black as a main color then sweaters to wear over them was easier- shoes, anyway this pattern is a pretty stellar late 60s psychedelic mod flower power and not atypical tropical Tiki trope.
