60s Red White Blue Polka Dots Maxi Dress Tiered Skirt$60.00
This tiered-skirt maxi dress from the late 1960s is an amazing combo of red, white, and blue polka dot and stripe fabrics! The fitted, square-neck, sleeveless bodice is shaped by curved, vertical seaming, and has white rickrack trim around the neckline. More rickrack trims the hem of each skirt tier. The bodice buttons are white plastic, and decorative only; the dress actually fastens with a plastic zipper in back. Below the wide waistband, the first section of the skirt is gathered into the fitted waist seam. The cotton and polyester blend fabric is crisp to the touch, and a medium weight, lined with white poly/cotton blend, lightweight muslin. (Each tier of the long skirt is sewn separately, to this under-layer of white lining fabric.) Other than a few loose threads on the inside only, where each skirt tier is sewn to the lining, the dress has no issues to note; it is in near excellent condition. Perfect for a 4th of July party--or any other day you feel like wearing shades of red, white, and blue, this fun, late 1960s dress does all the pattern mixing for you!
