50s Red Cotton Bermuda Shorts Rick Rack Trim$40.00
Bright red, ribbed-textured cotton is trimmed with matching red rickrack, on these ladies 1950s Bermuda shorts. The shorts have wide, cuffed legs that end just above the knee. The fitted waistband has narrow belt loops, and a button closure at the center back, above the metal zipper. The center back of the shorts (around the zipper) and the single large patch pocket (on the right hip) both feature the cute rickrack trim. The medium-weight cotton is unlined. The shorts are pinned to fit the mannequin in most of our photos, but the last photo gives a bit better idea of their actual size, which is approximately a modern M to L. In very good condition, these vintage Bermuda shorts have been worn and loved, but have only 2 minor issues: a small and faint dark mark at the front of the waistband (see close-up photo), and the crumpling of some of the rickrack. (We did our best to press it, but an iron would be better than a steamer, for pressing it down completely flat.) Pair these 1950s Bermuda shorts with a cute cropped top or sleeveless blouse, for a classic summer look!
