Offering up another less common Hawaiian dress:
This late 1950’s-early 1960’s Paradise Hawaii sarong:
Love the pleated bust and thicker straps and bold print.

My favorite feature of this sarong dress is the material:
Finely-waled in texture, and thicker than your typical woven cotton Hawaiian;
I think it can be called corduroy;
same waling, just less fuzzy.

There was a paper tag marked vintage size 14, but ended up falling off from my laundering.

Fits S-M:
Measurements:
Up to approx 38” bust; (boning down the center of each boob)
Up to 28. 5” waist;
Hips open;
7” bodice measured the along side elastic ruching;
24” long from waist seam + 3. 5” hem allowance.

Wrap sarong skirt opens at side.
Straps are currently sewn onto each side, but it may have originally been a halter style, with its thicker straps and no adjustable button features, as I’ve seen on other sarong dresses from this label.
This can easily be taken out, but I am offering it this way just in case one prefers wearing as-is.

Condition:
Shirring is relaxed but not disproportionate to the overall S-M sizing of the dress. Underbust measured around the bottom edge of boned shelf bra is 29-30”.
There is a faint stain on the white flower where the sarong drapes—(see last photo) I have not tried to target-treat it; virtually unnoticeable when worn and the sarong skirt side is gathered.
