RARE Vintage 1930's 1940's Eggplant Purple Gabardine Asymmetrical Belted-Back Blazer Jacket!

A very unique, collectible piece for any 1940's enthusiast!

Features:

- ripe, eggplant purple wool gabardine outer shell
- lightly padded, structured shoulders
- dramatic, wide, notched lapels
- draped, bloused bust
- nipped in waist which cinches with buckle and strap
- the iconic built-in / attached "belted back"
- 2 side patch pockets
- split, upturned cuffs
- asymmetrical button closure going up the front / side
- fully lined in matching rayon satin

Very good vintage condition. The fabric directly underneath the buttons has faded a bit, perhaps from the dye and/or material of the buttons. This is not noticeable; not unless you removed the buttons. 2 very tiny moth holes; insignificant and mentioned for accuracy. Could easily be repaired but I didn't have the right shade of purple thread on hand.

Waist: 30" be can be cinched as small as you like
Sleeve: 23" from shoulder to cuff
Length: 26"

Model is 5' 9" and measures 33-27-39.
