Gorgeous and very rare "donut" decanter designed for Blenko by Wayne Husted in a beautiful aqua blue color. Handblown you can tell from the pontil mark on the base, it also has a sandblasted mark used from 1959 to 1961 (see the close up of base). Unfortunately it's missing the stopper, which also has a distinctive shape similar to the base. You may be able to find one eventually, they do come online from time to time. I think even one of a different color would still look good, tI've seen them in a darker blue, violet, green and orange.

"Wayne Husted was hired as Director of Design at the venerable Blenko Glass Company in Milton, West Virginia. During his ten years at Blenko, he created over 60 new designs every year, resulting in over 600 unique designs in dozens of colors, many of which are included in museum collections and sought after by private collectors nationwide."

It's good condition, with no cracks or chips. There are also a few bubbles in the glass and other unique quirks that make each of these unique artisan made pieces. Some signs of wear and age, including some light scratches on the base, please see the photos. It
