1950's RARE Needlepoint and Petit Point Handbag with Roses

This is a Rare Handbag because it is constructed of Needlepoint Canvas that has been done in Needlepoint, but the best part is that the Center Flowers are done in Petit Point Stitching. Both are types of needle design and are called canvas embroidery. Petit Point is a much smaller stitching that creates great detail in the design. The Designs are on both Sides and are exactly the same. The Floral Design is also on the Sides and just around the Curve of the Bottom of the Bag. The Frame and Handle are made of Faux Tortoiseshell Lucite. The inside is lined in black and has a slide pocket on one side and a zipper compartment on the other side. The Rose Design is very Lovely.

Near MINT CONDITION - This Condition of this handbag is wonderful. The outside and inside are free of any stains or pulls. The lucite frame has a few tiny light scratches that are not visible except upon examination. These are just from being loved. This is a Beauty to Wear with All your Clothing.
