Victorian Style Soft Cotton Print Blouse and Skirt - Blouses and skirt sets were called "dresses", a one piece was a gown during the Victorian era. This set to my eye appears to be hand made by a very skilled seamstress in the 1970s or so when many people were wearing old fashioned clothing for the bi-centennial.
Thin soft material, lined in thin soft material (cotton or cotton blend?). Button down blouse with high neck - there are a couple collar stays sewn inside to help keep it up (it might stay up fine without these, but will leave that to the buyer). Pretty clear buttons fasten diagonally and vertically as well as snap buttons and hook/eyes. Skirt has snap buttons and hook/eyes.
5'8" mannequin - May fit XS/S - Blouse has 34" bust, 25" fitted waist, 21" long, 14. 5" shoulders, 21" sleeves, 12. 5" neck (a seamstress could move hook/eyes to make this an inch larger if needed). Note, cuffs are fitted. I have no problem fitting my hand through, someone with large hands may have difficulty. It is 3 3/4 inch across fitted at cuff/wrist so just under 8" wrist. Skirt has 24" waist, free 38" hips and is 41" long.
Nice condition - looks like it was worn once and stored carefully away. A couple yellowed spots inside collar by stays and super faint yellow lines on one sleeve. I would recommend this piece for light use such as photo shoot, tea party etc. The thin material might not hold up well to horse back riding or sitting in a wagon! (I think it would get snagged/fray)
