60's Pink Formal Long Skirted Sleeveless and Embroidered Dress$85.00
This sweet pink dress is from the early 1960s. Custom made for a family friend to attend formal events in her late teen to early twenties in the first couple of years of the 1960s. This dress is understated, and pretty. With an Empire waist, sleeveless, an embroidered bodice, a long slimming skirt, and a pink bow with cascading ribbons on the back at the waist line.
This dress is perfect for a bridesmaid dress, or for attending a formal event.
Made of a faux silk, zippered with its period original silver zip, hook and eye at the top of the zip, and a snap button at the back of the waist to keep the bow in place.
50" (from scoop neck to bottom of skirt)
Condition: In good to great vintage shape. One dark stain on one of the cascading ribbons at the back, this stain is permanent, as I have thoroughly cleaned the dress. Some fly away threads also on the ribbons. This dress was custom made, and has no label. The finishes inside of the dress are professional, but are semi on the crude side-- i.e. I'd wear a slip and/or petticoat under this dress for comforts sake.
