Fashions This deadstock, unworn, late 1940s or early 1950s smock top or tunic-length blouse is a larger size, and a fabulous mid-century color combo! The shadowy floral print cotton in shades of grey, black and off-white is enlivened by pops of bright pink. Matching pink buttons fasten the top in front, and the sleeve cuffs. Our favorite detail: crinkle-textured pink cotton trims the collar and the pair of triangular-shaped pockets! The blouses long sleeves are are full and gathered at the shoulders, ending in the fitted cuffs. The overall silhouette of the blouse is loose and full from the flat shoulder yoke to the hem, it would also be great as a vintage maternity top! This circa 1940s-50s smock top is in excellent to mint condition, never worn, with crisp fabric and bright colors.
