This is a classic vintage 60s 1960s brown and taupe wool plaid 49er style jacket by Pendleton Woolen Mills of Portland, Oregon.

The woven wool is a medium weight and features shades of brown and taupe accented with deep scarlet red as pictured.
The jacket features a notched collar and hip level pockets with decorative self-fabric flaps laid on the diagonal.
Boxy cut with a perfectly matched front yoke and modified shirttail bottom as pictured.
Does up the center front with five 3/4" diameter faux tortoise shell flat lucite buttons and horizontal buttonholes as pictured.
The jacket can be buttoned up to the neck as there is a button hidden beneath the collar.
Wrist length sleeves with decorative self-fabric half bands which are laid on the diagonal. These decorative bands each have one non-functional button.
The jacket is unlined.
CONDITION: Very Good with no stains, fading, snags, odors, rips, pills, or discoloration. The buttons are in wonderful condition - shiny and bright with their original luster - there are no chips, cracks, edge wear or other issues. The only thing is an old repair at the back of the right sleeve between the shoulder and elbow which blends in well and is barely noticeable.
Gently worn and well cared for.
SIZING: There are no size tags present. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern Extra Large to Extra Extra Large (XL to XXL / 2XL).
Please note this jacket is clipped to fit my size XS mannequin and will fall much better on the proper sized body.
